Six generations of family history run deep in the soil of his Utah homestead, where cattle, horses, and tradition have shaped a way of life that still holds steady today. He operates a cow–calf ranch with a commitment to good stewardship, sound stock, and the values passed down from those who built before him.
When the snow breaks and the grass starts to come, his work moves north into the steep summer country of Pleasantview, Idaho. There, cattle are trailed through rugged mountain terrain, learning to travel and thrive in big range. It’s a way of ranching that takes horsemanship, patience, and a deep respect for the land—and he wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Horses are his lifelong passion. Training them is both a skill and a legacy he’s proud to share with the next hands coming up.
