My name is Lauren Hitt and I was born and raised in the state of Virginia, where my love for horses and the western culture started. At a very young age, I knew I wanted horses to be my career. I started riding horses at the ripe age of 7, and I never grew out of my horse girl phase. I bought a filly from a guy with the name Petey Wright, whom helped me to find my love for the performance horse industry. I rode with him learning new training methods day in and day out. Fast forward to the year of 2023, when I ventured to the Midwest to chase my dreams of working in the horse industry. I interned at the Lazy E in Guthrie, OK during their breeding season and beginning of sales prep, which I absolutely loved but it just wasn’t fulfilling the end goal. I then moved to North Dakota, where I found the love for ranching, all the while training horses. I’ve found that training horses and ranching is what I truly love. I spend my springs, summers, and falls in the northern country helping to maintain a cow/calf operation, which all of my horses take part of as well. Then, in the winter months, I travel south to Oklahoma/Texas with a load of horses to learn as much as I can about horse training. At the end of the day, I strive to make exceptional horses that can be ridden anywhere by anyone.
