DESCRIPTION | Jethro
Jethro – The Gentleman Gelding You’ve Been Looking For! Looking for a reliable, kind-hearted gelding with a gentle disposition and a love for people? Jethro is the horse for you! Whether you are riding in the arena, hitting the trails, or working the ranch, Jethro is a dream. Jethro is a true gentleman – he goes where you point him and is comfortable riding out alone. Not only
is he a pleasure to be around, but he’s also an exceptional rope horse, both in and out of the arena. He’s built to last with good withers that keep your saddle in place all day and hard feet. He travels like a Cadillac on four legs. Our family has had the privilege of owning Jethro since he was a colt, and he has been a trusted, dependable mount for all kinds of work. He has been used for team roping (heading and heeling), ranch rodeos, picking up bucking horses and even just a casual ride around the ranch by inexperienced riders. He lopes circles with ease, has an impressive neck rein, moves off your legs easily, side passes
like a pro, and has a smooth, comfortable trot. Jethro is sure-footed and confident he is ready to tackle any challenge. He’s been ridden by riders of all experience levels and has the patience and temperament to match. At sale date he will be 12 years of
age, he stands 16 hh and weights #1300. He’s great for sorting pairs, loading cattle, and even ponies young horses. When it comes to doctoring cattle or holding the rope while you dismount, Jethro is steady and reliable. While we’ll miss Jethro, we’re confident that he’ll be a great addition to his next family. He’s a safe, dependable, and confidence-building gelding that’s ready for a new chapter. UTD on all shots and farrier work. If you’re interested in meeting Jethro and seeing what he can do, we’d love to schedule a time for you to ride him! Call us at 406-600-3192 or 405-404-5646 to set up a time to visit. We have an indoor arena and plenty of cattle to give him a proper test ride. Jethro is grade. Thank you for considering Jethro.
